Vladivostokskaya CHPP-2 is a thermal steam turbine power plant with combined generation of electricity and heat. The installed capacity of the power plant is 497 MW, the thermal capacity is 1051 Gcal/hour. The thermal scheme of the station is made with cross connections along the main flows of steam and water. VCHPP-2 is the main source for supplying industrial steam, heat and electricity to industry and the population of Vladivostok. This is the most powerful station in the DGK system in Primorsky Krai. It is the largest energy facility in the south of the region, providing 60% of the needs of the city of Vladivostok with electricity and 63% with heat.
As part of the current large-scale reconstruction of the energy production and technological complex of Vladivostok CHPP-2, the three oldest turbine units are being replaced and six worn-out boiler units are being dismantled, and also three new increased capacity units are being installed instead. Electrical and auxiliary equipment will be replaced, the station building will be reconstructed. As a result of the modernization, the electric power of the station will increase to 574 MW, and the thermal power to 1115 Gcal/h. The project is being implemented as part of the state program for the modernization of the thermal power industry in Russia. In addition to a large-scale modernization, RusHydro is carrying out a complete conversion of Vladivostok CHPP-2 to natural gas. Switching to gas significantly improves the environmental situation in Vladivostok: emissions are significantly reduced, and ash and slag waste is not accumulated.
Energofront was tasked with the selection and supply of six two-speed high-voltage asynchronous electric motors designed to drive smoke exhausters of the DN28x2BGM type manufactured by Sibenergomash-BKZ.
To ensure full compliance with the technical requirements for performance, reliability, operating conditions, as well as Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 719 dated July 17, 2015 “On confirmation of the production of industrial products on the territory of the Russian Federation”, Energofront proposed an electric motor of the ADO-S-800 / 500-6000-8 / 10-R-U1 of the domestic manufacturer NPO "ELSIB" PJSC.
The use of deep-slot rotors with an increased volume of copper and good contact between the rods and iron of the tooth makes it possible to reduce the heating of the rods during starts and guarantee reliable operation of engines with a number of starts over a service life of at least 5,000 for especially difficult starting conditions.
Reducing the temperature in the motor by several degrees due to the use of thermosetting stator insulation "Monolith - 4" allows you to increase the life of the high-voltage stator winding and ensure trouble-free operation of the winding for more than 30 years, as well as save the insulation from destruction, and the motor from short circuit. NPO "ELSIB" PJSC is the only plant in Russia with many years of experience in manufacturing motors with "Monolith-4" insulation.
The above advantages of NPO "ELSIB" PJSC electric motors make it possible to provide extended warranty obligations: 36 months from the date of commissioning, 42 months from the date of shipment of the equipment from the manufacturer.
The manufacture and supply of equipment is carried out in batches according to the schedule for the reconstruction of the station complex, with a planned completion date of 2026.
