The Supply of a wide range pumping equipment for JSC "TGK-11"

JSC “Territorial Generating Company No.11” is a part of the Inter RAO Group and is one of the largest heat generating companies in Siberia. Installed electric capacity of power facilities of JSC "TGK-11" is 1,565.2 MW, heat capacity - 3,669.24 Gcal / hour. Coal and gas are used as the main fuel at the facilities, and fuel oil is the backup fuel.

At the moment JSC "TGC-11" is carrying out planned work to upgrade the pumping equipment fleet at the power and heat generation facilities both due to physical wear and tear and due to the tightening of requirements for the safety of equipment operation.

In 2018-2019, in connection with the tightening of the requirements of the Federal norms and rules for explosion safety during the operation of the fuel oil economy, TGC-11 JSC proceeded to modernize the pumping equipment of the boiler shops at CHP-3, CHP-4, CHP-5. The main requirements for fuel oil pumping units are: steel version of the pump body and flow path, double mechanical seals with a support system and an explosion-proof electric motor with an intrinsically safe coupling. EnergoFront was faced with the task of selecting equipment that meets the stated requirements. As a result, EnergoFront specialists, together with leading plants that manufacture pumping equipment for the oil and gas sector, proposed fuel oil pumping units of the NDMs 250-380 and 12NA-22x6 types, which fully meet the requirements of the technical specifications and questionnaires, within the framework of an open tender.

NDMs 250-380 is a multi-section centrifugal double-bearing pump with a steel casing and a flow path in accordance with API610, designed to increase the pressure of fuel oil in front of the burner nozzles when firing up boilers with parameters Q = 290 m3 / h, H = 306 m. The axial forces in the pump are relieved by means of a relief piston. This pump will be installed instead of the pump 8ND-9х3, produced in 1960, which has a cast-iron body and a stuffing box shaft seal.

The pump will be equipped with additional interlocks, excluding starting or stopping the operation of the pump in the absence of a fluid being moved in its housing or deviations of its level in the receiving or supply tanks from the maximum permissible values.

The total number of pumps supplied for the needs of JSC "TGC-11" in 2020 within the framework of the concluded supply agreement exceeds 50 pieces and includes both small submersible pumps of the Gnome type and the above-mentioned multi-section pump NDMs, as well as pumps for pumping chemically aggressive media, network pumping units of the SE and Delium types, condensate pumping units of the KsV type and others, thus covering almost the entire line of technological pumping units of the CHPP and covering the annual need of JSC TGK-11 in pumping equipment. In order to comply with the schedule of repairs at the power facilities of TGC-11 JSC, as well as to improve the reliability of the supplied equipment, EnergoFront regularly monitors the production of each pump, followed by their testing at the stands, including the participation of representatives of TGC-11 JSC in the tests. Thanks to close cooperation with manufacturing plants, EnergoFront is able to accelerate production while maintaining product quality.

At present, all the equipment has been placed in production, part of the equipment has already been shipped to the Customer, the other part is in various stages of readiness. The main task now is the delivery of all equipment within the agreed time frame before the start of the heating season.
