Supply of WEG electric motors to Vankor oil and gas production field

First oil in Vankor field started in July 2009.

The aim of the project:

completing pump units on the basis of pump ЦНСн 315-378 (Q=315 m3/h, H=375 m).

Information:

Main line section one single-casing is used for dispensing oil in main line, technological and auxiliary pipe lines.
Pumps ЦНСн 315-centrifugal horizontal single-casing multi-stage with O-ring input and combined output( guide with O-ring input) and one-side impellers.

Information:

- Preliminary water discharge unit is used to separate water and associated gas from oil;

- Preliminary water discharge unit consists of:

Separation assembly
Tank battery
Pump units

Pump units АЦНСн 315-378 is used to be installed in preliminary water discharge unit-north of Vankor field.

In preliminary water discharge unit the liquid passes two stages of separation. Before the first stage of separation demulsifying compound is added. Gas from both stages of separation goes to gas drying assembly, then to consumer or plant.

Liquid of the second stage of separation goes to tank battery where there is part separation from mechanical particles and preliminary water discharge with its supply to modular cluster pump station for injection into formation.

JSC “NPP TechnoProekt” got the inquiry from JSK “Nasosenergomash “Sumy” to select and supply electric motors for the drive of АЦНСн 315-378 with the following requirements:

Explosion proof level -1ExdIIBT4;
Ambient transport and storage temperature: min -55°C, max +45°C;
Ambient operation temperature: min -55°C, max +45°C
Max outline dimension: not more than 1050 мм;
Noise pressure level (1 meter): not more than 80dB (A);
Warranty period: 24 months from installation but not more than 36 months from delivery;
Delivery term of all dispatch – not more than 150days.

Electric motors W22X manufactured by WEG covered all the requirements.

Special characteristics of explosion proof electric motors WEG

• Possibility of production with any explosion proof class;

• Quadruple balancing to provide decrease of noise and vibration;

• High power factor and efficiency;

• Corresponds to IE2, acc. to IEC60034-30;

• Lower nom current and current ratio at start that leads to less voltage losses at start, than in turn improves acceleration of motor;

• High degree of protection in standard type – IP55.Possibility of production – up to IP 66;

• V-type seals in bearing shields. Less dust penetrates into the motor, conditions for stator winding operation improves, less fault probability;

• Possibility of production in any mounting and any location of terminal boxes;

• Less weight comparing with analogues;

• Bearings SKF and NSK: reliable, easy replaceable.

Innovation type W22X are explosion proof electric motors which construction provides not only safe operation but also energy effectiveness, low noise level and vibration, high reliability, easy service and little operation expenses.

Usage of electric motors was coordinated with technical services of JSC “Vankorneft”.

JSC “NPP TechnoProekt” supplied electric motors on time. Now the procedures of preliminary building-blocks of pumps and electric motors and their common tests have been completed.

The equipment was dispatched to the destination of installation and operation.

JSC “NPP TechnoProekt” in cooperation with WEG CIS arranges the service procedures at commissioning and start-up, as well as service staff teaching.
