Major repairs of network pumps at Vsevolozhsk water treatment plants

EnergoFront continues to develop cooperation with enterprises providing water supply to consumers in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. In 2023, a complex project was implemented to replace network pumps at the 1st lift of Ladozhskaya station, and in 2024, work on the modernization of the Volkovskaya water supply station of SUE Vodokanal of St. Petersburg was completed. EnergoFront also performs design and survey work on the modernization of the pumping station of the 1st lift of the Southern Water Supply Station of SUE Vodokanal of St. Petersburg.

Vsevolozhsk water treatment plants are part of the Ladoga Vodovod centralized water supply system. Water treatment plants are the main source of drinking water in the territory of the Vsevolozhsky Municipal District and provide drinking water to seven municipalities of the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad Region. The average daily supply of drinking water from wastewater treatment plants is 21934 m3.

In order to modernize the Ladoga Vodovod centralized water supply system, EnergoFront, together with the concessionaire Severo-Zapad Engineering LLC, developed a technical solution for the overhaul (replacement) of out-of-service network pumps with new pumping units manufactured by M&W 300MS32 with the installation of frequency converters PCH-TTPT-200-400-50 production of LLC "Electrotex-IN" for parameters: flow 800 m3/h, head 32 m.

The installation of new pumping equipment will improve the reliability and smooth operation of the station in accordance with the real needs of consumers.

The operation of pumping equipment with frequency converters ensures smooth start/stop of the pumping unit with subsequent output to the set mode. The frequency converter also allows to set the daily and weekly operating mode of the pumping unit to ensure energy saving and energy efficiency targets.

In the course of work on the replacement of network pumps, the need for modernization of the coagulant supply system was identified. In a short time, EnergoFront offered a technical solution to replace existing coagulant metering pumps with modern Ligao DMA 150-5 P-E-J-1-E metering pumps. The use of new modern pumps will increase the accuracy of the coagulant supply to the drinking water treatment system and ensure an improvement in the quality of drinking water.

This project is not the first in which EnergoFront acts as a general contractor.
