The service and engineering potential of EnergoFront is in demand on the easternmost borders of Russia

One of the four projects of the investment program of JSC RusHydro for the construction of new energy facilities in the Far East, implemented jointly with JSC RAO Energy Systems of the East in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, is the construction of Sakhalinskaya GRES-2. The EnergoFront company is participating in the construction of one of the GRES facilities. At the moment, equipment has been supplied for 2 power units – 2 units for each unit. EnergoFront specialists are launching 4 boiler feed pumps of type APE 315-175 with fluid couplings 562 SVTL 12.1. The boiler feed pump is the “heart” of the power unit. The pumping units are designed with speed control. This adjustment is provided by a mechanical fluid coupling made by a German manufacturer. Our specialists successfully prepared pumping units with fluid couplings for delivery at the site and, together with a representative of the fluid coupling manufacturer, conducted individual tests of the equipment.
Opinion of the Head of the Service Department, Konstantin Makarov: “The work within the framework of this project is carried out in difficult working conditions: the facility is located at a large distance from the infrastructure (158 km), which requires careful handling of equipment and tools, since if they are damaged, quick replacement is impossible; employees live in a rotation camp located in close proximity to the facility. Currently, the equipment of the 1st unit is being tested, and specialists have begun work on the 2nd power unit of the facility.”
