Supply of boiler feed pump PEN-4 for the project “Modernization of the Samara Thermal Power Plant” for the needs of PJSC “T Plus”

In the wake of the rapprochement of the Chinese and Russian economies and the establishment of partnerships with Chinese manufacturers of various equipment, and in the current circumstances of Western sanctions pressure, since 2022 EnergoFront has been selecting alternative technical solutions to replace pumps of the “Sumy” PE and KSV series based on high-quality Chinese-made analogues. This is necessary for the timely implementation of investment and repair programs for future periods aimed at updating and increasing the reliability of the energy capacities of generation facilities in the Russian Federation.

EnergoFront together with the SHANGHAI KAIQUAN PUMP plant carried out the selection and adaptation of the technical characteristics, overall and connection dimensions of the proposed analogue – a TDG pump, which fully correspond to the pumping equipment being replaced without changing the connection dimensions.

The TDG series is specially designed to replace “Sumy” boiler feed pumps of the PE380, PE500, PE580, PE720 types, which are standard and currently in use in our country.

Thus, during the competitive procurement for the supply of boiler feed pump Art. No. 4 (PEN-4) for the project “Modernization of the Samara Thermal Power Plant with the replacement of heating equipment st. No. 4 and KA st. No. 4″ for the needs of PJSC “T Plus”, as a result of which, the Customer, having expertly assessed the technical proposals of all Participants, namely: compliance with the technical characteristics of the equipment, the level of competence of the manufacturer, experience in the manufacture of similar equipment, guaranteed delivery times, the cost of the equipment, recognized our Company as the winner.

We will supply Feed Pump Unit – TDG600-200×10 with parameters 580m3/h; 2030m, NPSH=9m; Т=165°C containing:

1. Double casing boiler feed pump TDG600-200×10 manufactured by SHANGHAI KAIQUAN PUMP.

2. Electric motor 4АЗМ-4000/6000УХЛ4 produced by NPO ELSIB PJSC.

3. Block oil station to provide the oil system of the unit assembly.

4. Complete pipeline fittings.

5. Set of instrumentation devices.

6. Services for equipment assembly, installation supervision, adjustment supervision, as well as the necessary training of maintenance personnel.

Currently, the main equipment (pump and electric motor) has been placed on order in production. Delivery time is December 2024. SHANGHAI KAIQUAN PUMP (GROUP) CO. LTD is one of the largest pumping factories in China.
