The Ministry of Energy does not exclude the transfer of a number of projects under CSA

At the end of January, the Russian government agreed with Inter RAO OJSC to transfer the project for the construction of power units under the CSA from the Verkhnetagilskaya State District Power Plant to the Ufimskaya CHPP-5. The company also changed the deadlines for completing a number of projects. In addition, options are being considered for transferring the TPP project from Sochi to Grozny and the project from the Novobereznikovskaya CHPP “IES-Holding” to CHPP-1.
These decisions are associated with objective prerequisites for reducing electricity consumption in the regions where new units are initially located and the slow pace of their financing and construction.
