EnergoFront KZ LLP will supply equipment for Astana-Energia JSC

EnergoFront KZ LLP won a tender at Astana-Energia JSC for the supply of an electric motor for a blower fan.
For the project, a two-speed asynchronous electric motor AOD 630/320-8/10U1, produced by Large Electrical Machines Plant LLC, was proposed to replace the morally and physically obsolete DAZO15-49-8/10U1, which was discontinued.
The selected electric motor has improved technical characteristics, lighter weight and, in terms of overall mounting dimensions, fits the foundation beams of the DAZO15-49-8/10U1 engine.
“When selecting an engine, we took into account the peculiarities of the location where the engine was used and made a number of changes to its design,” Alexey Mikhailov, director of EnergoFront KZ LLP, describes the progress of work. “We also had the task of equipping the engine with the instrumentation and bearings required by the Customer, which would improve its monitoring and save time on routine repairs.”
The electric motor is scheduled to be delivered by February 2019.
Astana-Energia JSC includes CHPP-1 and CHPP-2. The objective of the Company is to provide the city of Astana, its residents, enterprises and organizations with thermal and electrical energy.
