EnergoFront commissioned a new drive for heavy machinery at Ekibasstuz GRES-1
20 October 2014
Specialists from EnergoFront CJSC, together with the plant for the production of electrical machines CG Electric Systems, Hungary, successfully completed the first part of the project for modernizing the electric drives of hammer crushers in the fuel supply shop of Ekibastuz State District Power Plant-1, Kazakhstan. An asynchronous electric motor FTC630Hm10 with a power of 1250 kW was used as a modernized drive, which is the first example of a modified series of electric motors for particularly severe operating conditions.
Specialists from JSC EnergoFront were directly involved in all stages of the project, including conducting factory tests. The commissioning of the MD-21 hammer crusher with a new drive motor was the final stage of this part of the project. All installation and commissioning operations were carried out with the direct participation and under the control of specialists from the service department of EnergoFront CJSC.
This positive experience in the implementation of electric motors produced by CG Electric Systems will be taken into account when replacing drives on other critical station mechanisms, such as draft mechanisms, pumps and mills.
