Kuzbass energy workers break records

“For 9 months of 2015, the power plants of the Kuzbass branch of the Siberian Generating Company (SGK) generated 13,787 million kWh of electricity, increasing the figures for the same period in 2014 by 31.5%,” the company’s press service reports. In September, Kuzbass SGK stations generated a total of 1,618 million kWh, exceeding the September 2014 figure by 11%.
Electricity consumption for the nine months of 2015 in Russia as a whole amounted to 674.8 billion kWh, which is 0.2% more than for the same period in 2014. In the UES of Russia, electricity consumption since the beginning of the year has amounted to 656.4 billion kWh, which is 0.1% less than the value achieved in January-September 2014. Since the beginning of 2015, electricity generation in Russia as a whole has amounted to 683.6 billion kWh, which is 0.9% more than the production volume in January-August 2014. Electricity generation in the Unified Energy System of Russia for eight months of 2015 amounted to 668.8 billion kWh, which is 0.8% more than the same period last year.
