Two-shaft electric motor Sec Electric Motory for the VolgaKaliy JSC enterprise of the Eurochem group

According to the terms of reference, the engineering staff of EnergoFront carried out a technical audit at the enterprise of VolgaKaliy JSC of the Eurochem group in the city of Kotelnikovo.
We evaluated an existing ABB electric motor, which has special compact overall dimensions, independent ventilation and special design for operation with VFDs under conditions of high overload torques and aggressive environments. At the request of the Customer, additional measurements were taken in the workshop conditions.
As a result of the joint work of technical specialists from our company and Sec Electric Motory, an engine was developed and offered to the Customer, maintaining all overall and connecting dimensions, in compliance with all technical requirements for bolt-to-bolt replacement. We have selected the most successful replacement solution – a Sec Electric Motory 710 kW twin-shaft electric motor for the main drive of the mill. We expect to deliver in the second quarter of 2023.
