At the branch of OJSC OGK-2 – Novocherkassk State District Power Plant, the reconstruction of power unit No. 7, carried out under power supply agreements, was completed ahead of schedule.
As a result of the project, the installed power of the power unit increased from 264 to 300 MW, the control range expanded from 39 MW to 90 MW, the specific consumption of equivalent fuel was reduced by more than 20 g/kWh, the service life of the turbine equipment was extended by 25 years, and environmental performance was improved.
As reported, “based on the results of testing and comprehensive testing, the achievement of the investment project’s target indicators for installed capacity, technological minimum load and speed of load increase/decrease was confirmed.”
