EnergoFront expands the capabilities of Pechora State District Power Plant of JSC Inter RAO-Electric Power Plants

But also an important task of modernization is not only to increase production volume, but also to minimize costs. Therefore, careful and responsible selection of a partner can become the highest priority activity and lead to high results. By monitoring the current state of the equipment, it becomes possible to introduce the most advanced technologies that are suitable for a particular facility at the moment.
As part of the comprehensive modernization of power generating stations of JSC Inter RAO-Electricity, EnergoFront LLC will supply two electric motors 2ADO-S-1800/1000-6000-6/8U1 produced by NPO ELSIB PJSC for the modernization of two blower fans VDN-25×2 of power unit No. 2 of the branch “Pechorskaya GRES” JSC “Inter RAO-Electric Power Plants”. To reduce the total costs of modernization, the supplied 2ADO-S-1800/1000-6000-6/8U1 electric motors will be modified taking into account the full inclusion of the existing DAZO-18-59-6/8U1 electric motors in the foundation. Also, the new electric motors will be supplied with fluoroplastic liners, which will improve the starting characteristics and extend the life of the bearings of the 2ADO-S-1800/1000-6000-6/8U1 electric motor.
Within the framework of this project, specialists from the service department of EnergoFront LLC will provide a range of services for supervised installation and supervised adjustment of the supplied electric motors.
Opinion of project manager of EnergoFront LLC Artem Musikov:
“Our company took part in the competition, where it was our solution that won. In the competition, we developed an individual proposal that fully satisfied the customer’s requirements. The electric motors are designed for the existing foundation, equipped with the required volume of sensors, they have a modern MONOLITH-4 winding, high reliability and energy efficiency. The complexity of the project was that the drawings of the existing foundations at the station were not preserved, so all dimensions had to be taken on site. If this had not been done, the equipment would have to be modified on site, and this would entail additional financial and time costs.
I would also like to note that it is very difficult to get to the Pechora State District Power Plant by road, so delivery will be carried out by rail.»
