The second wave of modernization for JSC PhosAgro-Cherepovets

Keeping up with the times is an important task and condition for a modern enterprise. However, you can still find production facilities in Russia and the CIS countries operating on outdated equipment. The main disadvantages of such systems are the low level of productivity and the time required to troubleshoot problems. The optimal solution in this matter is the modernization of the enterprise. However, even if innovation helps bring production to a new level of productivity, one of the key obstacles is the high cost of new equipment. In addition, not every enterprise is ready to suspend production for a long period.
The EnergoFront team participated in the optimization of work for JSC PhosAgro-Cherepovets. It was decided to supply the equipment in two stages. The scope of supply included three liquid ring vacuum pumping units manufactured by HIBON (France) type AL 100+ V for pumping vapors of fluoride compounds in production and creating a vacuum on a rotary vacuum filter. Hibon, with more than a century of experience in the equipment market, pays great attention to the development and modernization of manufactured equipment and, as a result, meeting market needs.
The supply of pumping units is the next stage of replacing outdated equipment in this technological section of the workshop for the production of extraction phosphoric acid.
The required pumping units were delivered on schedule.

JSC PhosAgro-Cherepovets is one of the world’s leading producers of phosphorus-containing fertilizers. In February 2017, the company celebrates its forty-first birthday. Of course, equipment from the 70s is becoming obsolete and needs to be replaced. Last year we already supplied equipment as part of the first modernization. Thanks to this project, we have once again confirmed our competencies and established ourselves as a reliable partner. During the implementation of the second delivery, we again visited the enterprise with technical specialists and measured all the necessary data. We are faced with the fact that it is quite difficult to find the necessary components to implement this project.
