Launch of the EnergoFront LLC project with Norilsk CHPP-2

As part of the project “Turnkey reconstruction of two power units of Norilsk CHPP-2”, EnergoFront LLC took part in the development of options for district heating pumps for these units.
As a result of the study, Delium 300-530A pumps were selected, which fully satisfy the technical specifications and have a number of advantages over analogues: high efficiency, compact dimensions, which plays an important role in cramped conditions, a “dry” shaft that excludes contact with the pumped medium, balanced price, increased mean time between failures.
The delivery of Delium 300-530A pumping units will be accompanied by installation supervision and commissioning services, which will be carried out by specialists from the Service Department of EnergoFront LLC. Commissioning of the reconstructed power unit No. 1 is planned for 2020, power unit No. 2 – for 2022.
Norilsk Thermal Power Plant No. 2 (CHP-2) was built between 1965 and 1989. according to the project of the Leningrad branch of the Teploelektroproekt Institute and is intended to cover the thermal loads of the Talnakh industrial area and the residential complex of Talnakh and supply electricity to the mining and metallurgical complex. Located in the city of Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Opinion of EnergoFront LLC project manager Ivan Efimovich Gulyaev: “When selecting pumping units, interaction was established with the general designer – JSC Lonas-Technology and its Tomsk branch. As a result of the project implementation, the reliability and economic efficiency of energy production at Norilsk CHPP-2 will be increased, and operating and fuel and energy costs will be reduced.”
