EnergoFront uses its knowledge and experience to modernize the boiler feed pump at the Cherepetskaya GRES

Based on the results of open competitive negotiations, EnergoFront LLC was recognized as the winner for the right to enter into an agreement for the supply of a set of equipment for the electric boiler feed pump at the Cherepetskaya State District Power Plant.
Cherepetskaya State District Power Plant named after D. G. Zhimerin is the first powerful steam turbine power plant in Europe and strategically important for the energy system of the Center of Russia, designed for ultra-high steam parameters (pressure 170 atmospheres, temperature 550°C). The main function of the Cherepetskaya GRES is to carry peak loads within the Moscow, Tula, Oryol, Bryansk and Kaluga regions. Annual electricity generation is about 2.5 billion kWh.
EnergoFront LLC is a long-time and reliable partner of JSC Inter RAO – Electric Power Plants, which includes the Cherepetskaya State District Power Plant, in terms of supply and modernization of power plant equipment. As part of the new agreement, at the end of 2018, our company will supply to the station a set of equipment for the PE 720-185-4 boiler feed pump.
It should be noted that in this internal housing with a rotor, the combination of the number of impeller blades and guide vane channels has been optimized. This makes it possible to improve the vibration state of the pump bearing units by eliminating the disturbing harmonics of the radial forces acting from the guide vanes on the impellers. This also ensures an increase in pump efficiency by 2-3%.
