Tests of a batch of pumps for the needs of GSR CHPP have been completed

Tests of the second batch of district heating pumps D300-720A produced by JSC “GMS Livgidromash” for the needs of the GSR CHPP, Kolpino, have been completed.
Acceptance tests were carried out under the control of the Leading Technical Support Engineer of EnergoFront LLC, I.B. Pisarevsky, as well as with the presence of representatives of the GSR CHPP.
Pumping units were tested using standard electric motors over the entire range of flow and pressure characteristics. During the tests, vibration and noise indicators were taken. At the customer’s request, the pumps were additionally tested for cavitation reserve. The level of data obtained showed that the pumps have a significant margin of reliability and performance.
Based on the test results, the pumping units have been approved for shipment and will soon be delivered to the GSR CHPP to begin installation work as part of the second stage of modernization of the CHPP network facility.
