EnergoFront will supply an air-cooled oil unit for the boiler feed pump of the joint venture “CHPP-4” of JSC “TGK-11”

As part of the project for the technical re-equipment of the boiler feed pump PE 500-180-3 (item No. PEN-3), in September 2020 our company will supply an air-cooled oil unit N17.330.300.00 for supplying oil to the lubrication system of the bearings of the boiler feed pump and electric motor.
The oil unit is supplied in a block design, in maximum factory readiness. It is equipped with centrifugal semi-submersible oil pumps, which eliminates external oil leakage through the mechanical seals, and due to the absence of rubbing elements in them, their overhaul life is significantly increased.
Instead of water-oil tubular heat exchangers, a heat exchanger with forced cooling is used, using a fan included in the delivery set.
Thus, in the oil unit there is no need for cooling water, and the unit itself operates in automatic mode: the fan turns on at an oil temperature of +45 C and turns off when the oil temperature drops to +35 C.
Experience in operating these oil installations at power generation facilities has confirmed their high technical and economic efficiency, providing a significant reduction in maintenance costs due to process automation.
