Replacement of the boiler feed pump at Barnaul CHPP-3 (Siberian Generating Company)

EnergoFront once again confirmed the status of an engineering company trusted by large energy systems by participating and winning the tender for the project “Replacement of the boiler feed pump with a pump of lower capacity at Barnaul CHPP-3” LLC Siberian Generating Company.
At Barnaul CHPP-3, 7 feed electric pumps of the PE-500-180-3 type are installed. The use time of one PE-500-180-3 with a load of 150-250 t/h and a power consumption of 3 MW is 50% per year. Under the current operating conditions, there is a need for a smaller pump with a nominal power of 2.0 MW.
Using accumulated experience in designing and executing pump replacement projects, our engineers have come up with the most efficient and cost-effective solution for boiler feed pump replacement. The company proposed a modern pump of lower capacity from a Russian manufacturer, but with higher efficiency and lower energy consumption, which will allow the station to reduce operating costs and achieve economic efficiency of the project.
As part of the implementation of this project, a whole team of EnergoFront specialists will conduct a pre-project survey, and we will develop project documentation. Our chief engineers will provide services for managing the installation and commissioning of equipment.
The project is scheduled for December 2023.
