EnergoFront will replace the outdated equipment of «Azot» Branch of JSC «UCC «URALCHEM»

«EnergoFront» company won the tender for the supply of pumping units for «Azot» Branch of JSC «UCC «URALCHEM», offering a reasonable alternative to the usual solutions.

Due to wear and outages in the installed equipment, the enterprise «Azot» Branch of JSC «UCC «URALCHEM» in Berezniki announced a tender for the supply of pumping units for pumping magnesium nitrate solution in nitric acid. Specialists of «EnergoFront» company have worked out a set of options of the task execution and offered the best solution.

«We saw an opportunity to go a non-standard way, - comments the proposed solution Projects Manager Maxim Kosyakov. – While manufacturers are developing the latest alloys and materials of increased resistance to abrasive and corrosion wear, which leads to an increase in the cost of equipment, we have chosen a pump of a completely different design (rotary vane pump Börger). The rotation speed of the rotors of this pump is 362 rpm, which is almost 5 times lower than that of centrifugal pumps. Accordingly, the wear rate of the equipment is significantly reduced. In addition, removable armor plates are installed in the pump casing».
