Major overhaul of the Kharanorskaya GRES

As part of the planned shutdown of the Kharanorskaya GRES power unit No. 3, EnergoFront specialists performed a major overhaul of VOITH 682 SVNL 33G hydraulic couplings that ensure the operation of feed pumps PEN-3A and PEN-3B.

All work was carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the VOITH TURBO manufacturer and on time.

Key stages of work:

• Disassembly, transportation and defective couplings

• Replacement of worn bearings, seals and gears with original VOITH components

• Precise assembly with adjustable gaps and dynamic balancing

• Hydraulic leakproofness and operating pressure tests

• Installation and commissioning of equipment with oil change

Repair operations were carried out at a fully equipped repair site equipped with specialized tools under the supervision of certified EnergoFront engineers.

Result:

The equipment was successfully put into operation simultaneously with the start-up of power unit No. 3. The work carried out guarantees reliable operation of the couplings during the entire inter-repair period.
