In the town of Żychlin (Poland) team «EnergoFront» together with the Polish colleagues, representatives of the Emit plant, tested the motor for delivery under construction serial nuclear icebreakers «Siberia» and «Ural» of project 22220. All necessary works are carried out in time and successfully.
This batch of electric motors will be a part of the PEMA 250-80 series pumping units, which are designed to supply feed water to the steam turbine installation of icebreakers. Accepted equipment will be shipped to JSC «HMC Livgidromash» for final assembly and acceptance testing of PEMA 250-80 series pumping units.
Nuclear icebreakers of project 22220 are necessary to ensure Russia's leadership in the Arctic. They will be able to carry out caravans of vessels in the Arctic conditions, punching ice up to three meters thick in the course of movement. The new ships will provide the transportation of ships carrying hydrocarbon raw materials from the fields of the Yamal and Gydan peninsulas, the shelf of the Kara Sea to the markets of the Asia-Pacific region.
The opinion of the Project Manager of LLC «EnergoFront» Ilya Zagorodniy: «Our colleagues from Poland showed a high level of organization and professionalism in the conduct of acceptance work. This was facilitated by the experience gained during similar procedures in the framework of testing of head samples of equipment supplied to the icebreaker «Arktika» (project 22220), which has already begun mooring tests. All our experience and knowledge gained during our participation in the 22220 project show that EnergoFront team can handle such large-scale orders. Thanks to well-coordinated and high-quality work, including partners, we again and again demonstrate to our Customers the high level of the equipment supplied by us and prove our professionalism».
With a wish of stable and high-quality work,
team EnergoFront #FrontProject
