Supply of CNP boiler feed pumps for a new test bench of steam turbine units for JSC Kirov-Energomash Plant

JSC "Plant"Kirov-Energomash" - an enterprise that is part of the Rosatom corporation, is engaged in the development and production of power equipment for the nuclear, thermal, ship and hydropower industries. The main activity of the plant is the design, manufacture and testing of steam turbines, which are used on ships of the civil and military fleet of Russia.
The customer encountered the following problem: that the existing test bench did not provide the necessary loads for testing modern steam turbine plants. It was necessary to create a standcapable of simulating real and increased loads with high accuracy. The modernization includes installation of steam boilers and auxiliary equipment, including boiler feed pumps.
To the company’s specialists EnergoFront has been supplied task - selection of pumping units to provide feed water to steam boilers at various steam turbine loads.
To modernize the stand, we selected CNP boiler feed pumps brand BRM115-85x9, meeting the requirements of the project.
Key features of the solution:

Installation of CNP pumps will ensure the supply of feedwater for steam boilers throughout the entire operating range of the test bench.
