Chita CHPP-1 (PJSC TGC-14) is a coal-fired combined heat and power plant located in Chita (Trans-Baikal Territory, western shore of Lake Kenon). The installed electrical capacity of Chita CHPP-1 after modernization is 452.8 MW, thermal capacity is 1072 Gcal/h

It is the largest power plant in the company's structure and in the Trans-Baikal region.

It covers about 74% of electricity consumption and over 80% of the heat demand of the city of Chita, and also provides a technological reserve for Russian Railways and mining projects in the region.

Goals, objectives and solution

Project objective:

Replacement of the outdated "Sumy" PE150-145 feedwater pump with modern and more efficient equipment.

Key Customer requirements:

  1. Complete preservation of overall and connection dimensions — installation on the existing foundation without rewelding pipelines
  2. Increased reliability of the pump unit
  3. Maintenance of operating parameters: flow rate 150 m³/h, head 1580 m

Why DG160-120×13 was chosen

1. Parameter identity

Flow rate 150 m³/h and head 1580 m fully correspond to the characteristics of the replaced PE150-145 pump.

2. Design compatibility

The pump is designed for the mounting places of the "Sumy" analogue — costs for foundation reconstruction and pipeline rewelding are excluded.

3. Turnkey package

The supply includes an electric motor, which ensures the unit's readiness for installation.
