To regulate high-power machines, variable-fill turbo couplings (fluid couplings) are installed.
The fluid coupling allows you to regulate the pump speed at constant electric motor speeds, and is also used for smooth starting of equipment. Due to slippage and the possibility of almost complete emptying of the fluid coupling, the electric motor starts in idle mode. This allows you to avoid negative impacts on the electric motor and the power supply network, as well as to avoid voltage dips when starting machines with heavy starting.
