Feeding pumps and units

Back

Description

Modern boiler feed pumps and units are designed to supply feed water at a temperature of up to 180°C to waste heat boilers of power plants with combined cycle gas turbine units (CCG) and steam power plants.

The boiler feed pump is the most important and expensive pump in a power plant. A large number of stages of the pumping part, the use of unloading devices, plain bearings, segment bearings, a large number of automation and powerful engines significantly complicate the selection and maintenance of boiler feed pumps.

Single casing boiler feed pumps

Purpose

The pump is mainly used for supplying feed water in power plants, petrochemical plants, coal chemical plants and other plants, and can also be used in other cases when transporting clean water under high pressure.
