EnergoFront has completed the delivery of the SE-1250-140-11 district heating pump unit equipped with an A4-400Y-4 electric motor of Russian manufacture for JSC "Murmansk CHP". The new equipment will replace the unit that has reached the end of its service life and ensure reliable heat supply to the residents of the Arctic capital during the upcoming heating season.

About the Customer

JSC "Murmansk CHP" (a subsidiary of PJSC "TGC-1") is a key supplier of thermal energy for the city of Murmansk. The plant provides heat and hot water to approximately 75% of the consumers in the Arctic capital, which imposes special requirements on the reliability and uninterrupted operation of both main and auxiliary equipment.

The Task

EnergoFront specialists were tasked with replacing the existing district heating pump that had reached the end of its service life. The customer's key requirement was to maintain the overall and connection dimensions of the new unit. This condition would minimize the scope of installation work and avoid costly reconstruction of existing pipelines and foundations.

The Solution

Our engineers selected and supplied the SE-1250-140-11 district heating pump (flow rate 1250 m³/h, head 140 m) with an A4-400Y-4 electric motor (power 630 kW, 1500 rpm, voltage 6 kV). Both units are of Russian manufacture.

Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of technological processes and close cooperation with manufacturers, we were able to ensure full compliance of connection dimensions with the new equipment. This made it possible to integrate the pump into the existing CHP infrastructure without the need to redesign the piping system, which significantly saved the client's time and resources.

Result

The SE-1250-140-11 pump unit has been delivered to the customer in full configuration and fully complies with the agreed technical specifications.

Key Points:

  • Before: A district heating pump that had reached the end of its service life and required replacement.
  • After: A new high-efficiency unit of Russian manufacture, fully compatible with the existing piping system.

The new district heating pump will enhance the reliability of heat supply for the residents of Murmansk this winter already, ensuring a stable supply of coolant in the harsh climatic conditions of the Arctic.
