At the beginning of 2020, the EnergoFront specialists from the service department are preparing for commissioning of previously delivered equipment for the assembly of PEMA 250-80 electric pump units, which are designed to supply feed water to the steam generators of the steam turbine installation of the Arctic 22220 nuclear icebreaker, these are 800 asynchronous motors kW, frequency converters АТ24-М80-690-Р00000, transformer cabinets ТРСС-1000-10,5 / 0,69 / 0,69 / 0,38, local control panels АТ.687442.241. The following procedures will take place soon: checking the external circuit shutdowns, adjusting settings and adapting to the technological process, checking the operation of protection in emergency situations, lengthy stress tests, checking all operating modes, etc.
Our Company ensured the supply of equipment for all vessels of this project, it successfully passed all tests and demonstrated full compliance with the terms of reference.
The second stage of Arctic sea trials, within the framework of which it is planned to use the ship’s reactor installation with a planned speed of 20 knots, is expected at the end of February 2020.
The main tasks of these icebreakers are to service the Northern Sea Route and conduct various expeditions to the Arctic.
