Replacement of the feed pump at Barnaul CHPP-3 (Siberian Generating Company)

EnergoFront once again confirmed the status of an engineering company trusted by large energy systems by participating in and winning the tender for the project "Replacing the feed pump with a lower capacity pump at Barnaulskaya CHPP-3" LLC "Siberian Generating Company".

At the Barnaul CHPP-3, 7 electric feed pumps of the PE-500-180-3 type are installed. The time of using one PE-500-180-3 with a load of 150-250 t/h and a power consumption of 3 MW is 50% per year. In the current mode of operation, there is a need for a pump with a lower capacity, with a rated power of 2.0 MW.

Using the accumulated experience in the design and implementation of projects for the replacement of pumping equipment, our engineers proposed the most effective and cost-effective solution for replacing the feed pump. The company proposed a modern pump of lower capacity from a Russian manufacturer, but with higher efficiency and lower power consumption, which will allow the plant to reduce operating costs and achieve economic efficiency of the project.

As part of the implementation of this project, a whole team of EnergoFront specialists will conduct a pre-project survey, we will develop project documentation. Our chief engineers will provide services to guide the installation and commissioning of equipment.

The project is scheduled for December 2023.
