Energofront continues to develop its competencies in the field of construction, installation and design

EnergoFront was announced the winner in the tender for design, construction and installation works to replace electric pump units of circulation pumps (hereinafter referred to as CP) at Severo-Zapadnaya TPP type 96DV-3/28 MBMK manufactured by JSC Uralgidromash for new central heating units in the amount of 2 units with optimal characteristics and high reliability.

The need to perform these works arose due to the following reasons:

• constant performance of frequent and expensive repairs of operated pumps;

• lack of technical support from the manufacturer of the electric pump units;

• long-term supply of spare parts for electric pump units.

As part of the project documentation, platforms for servicing pumping units will be developed, as well as an electrical part will be completed to connect two new electric pumping units (6kV electric motors) to the existing power supply system.

As a result of making the above works, such improvements will occur:

• reduction of repair costs;

• reducing the cost of electricity for own needs, due to the use of modern, advanced, energy-efficient electric pumping units;

• increasing the simplicity and ease of maintenance of the CP;

• improving working conditions, increasing labor safety, reducing occupational illness due to a significant decrease in sound pressure (noise) in the working area of the CP;

• elimination of costs due to underdelivery of capacities associated with an emergency by disabling the CP.

The completion of all work is scheduled for the end of 2022.
