Tambov CHP is a thermal power plant, part of JSC Quadra (part of JSC Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions), located in the city of Tambov, Tambov region. Installed electric capacity – 235 MW, the main type of fuel is natural gas, the backup is fuel oil. Tambov thermal power plant is the largest producer of electricity and supplier of thermal energy for consumers of the regional center's. Tambov CHP generates about 30% of the electricity consumption of the entire Tambov region and provides heat to about 70% of consumers in the city of Tambov. Currently, the Tambov CHP is operating six steam boilers with a total steam capacity of up to 1,680 tons per hour, four turbine units with an installed electric capacity of 235 MW and 4 hot water boilers with a thermal capacity of 405 Gcal/h.
As part of the program to maintain the functioning of the energy complex of the branch of JSC "Quadra"-"Tambov Generation", the task was set to replace the obsolete and already exhausted electric motor DAZO2-18-59-6/8 (manufactured by Armelectromash JSC), installed on the drive of a VDN-25*2 type blow fan, with a modern equivalent. In this case, the electric motor must be mounted on an existing foundation.
In order to fully comply with the established technical requirements for performance, reliability and operating conditions, EnergoFront offered a two-speed electric motor type 2ADO-C-1600/800-6000-6/8- R-U1, produced by the domestic plant of NGO ELSIB PJSC.
EnergoFront's long-term partner is NPO ELSIB PJSC, which has established itself as a high-quality and reliable manufacturer of large high-voltage asynchronous motors used in energy, oil refining, gas production and other industries in Russia. The company has many years of experience in using modern technologies in the design and manufacture of large electric motors, generators and excitation systems.
The main advantages of the NPO ELSIB electric motor of PJSC 2ADO-C series in comparison with the installed DAZO2 electric motor-18-59-6/8 The production facilities of Armelectromash are:
higher efficiency, as a result of lower costs for the station's own needs;
higher permissible temperature of the stator winding, which allows the motor to stay longer in overload mode;
insulation of the stator winding of the Monolith-4 type, which increases the reliability and service life of the electric motor (Armelectromash – 20 years, ELSIB – 30 years);
lower static and dynamic loads on the foundation due to the lower weight of the electric motor;
a sliding bearing with inserts with an elastic metal-plastic coating, instead of less reliable sliding bearings with forced lubrication;
increased number of starts by 20% compared to the installed DAZO2 electric motor
The above-stated advantages of the NGO ELSIB electric motor of PJSC allow us to provide extended warranty obligations: 36 months from the date of commissioning, 42 months from the date of shipment of the equipment from the manufacturer. The delivery of electric motors is planned ahead of the contractual deadlines by the end of 2024.
